When am I eligible for Medicare?
Medicare eligibility is relatively straightforward. You are eligible for Medicare if you’re:
Age 65 or older
Diagnosed with ALS or permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or a kidney transplant
Younger than 65 and you have been entitled to Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) for 24 months
